Hi my name is Ishan Babbar
and I’m Salesforce Core Practice Lead here at Ateko.

Imagine running all of Salesforce  your data, your workflows, your business logic  without ever opening a browser. That’s the idea behind Salesforce Headless 360, announced at Trailblazer (TDX) 2026, and it might be the biggest platform shift Salesforce has made in over two decades.

Headless 360 takes every capability inside Salesforce and exposes it three ways: as an API, as an MCP tool, and as a CLI command.

“MCP” also known as,  Model Context Protocol  is the key piece.

It lets AI agents and coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex discover and use Salesforce features by name.
It ships with 60-plus MCP tools and 30-plus prebuilt coding skills, sitting on top of thousands of existing APIs. And there’s an Experience Layer that lets you define a workflow once  like a renewal alert or a case escalation and render it natively in Slack, on mobile, in Teams, or even ChatGPT, without rebuilding it for each surface.

So… why is Salesforce moving in this direction?

Because we’ve entered the agentic era. AI agents need direct, governed access to real business context

such open cases, SLAs, renewal dates and not just a raw database.

The browser was the front door for 25 years; now the API is the front door.

For both humans and agents alike.

For customers, this means three things.

One: your existing flows, data models, and security rules become reusable anywhere

configure once, run everywhere.

Two: your security and governance don’t change

Every sharing rule and permission is still enforced.

And three: you can build faster, meeting users wherever they already work.
